Well, just a little note that I finally put some downloads back online. Since I changed the blog system to start with a fresh and new blog, I decided to copy only a few of my older productions to the new blog. I might add some minor css/styling changes to the download section. But those are of minor concern 
All the other downloads are still available on the net, e.g.:
By the way, if you wonder which download plugin I use … it is called Wordpress Download Monitor and I have to say it is the best download plugin/system I have ever used. It lets you add downloads very quick and you are very flexible to post them throughout your whole page.

Welcome to a new version of my blog. Finally it is version 4.0. The two first versions were completely written from scratch in PHP. Then I thought it would be cool to have some CMS functionality and switched to Typo3. To be honest, I was never really happy with T3. I know it is a huge CMS - but it is not very intuitive to use. In addition, the pool of available plugins lack of documentation and configuration needs too much time IMHO.
I played with Wordpress a year ago when creating a blog for a friend of mine - and I have to say that the backend and its usage is very intuitive and user-orientated. So, finally here is version 4.0 of my blog now powered by Wordpress. Many thanks for this very cool design has to go to Michael Tyson who made this template called “Elegant Grunge“.
Since it will take some time to copy some of my works to the new systems - I decided to let the old blog online for some time. You can find it at:
